What is a wiki?

Wiki is easy! If you have never written on a wiki before, you may want to read Blogs, Wikis, and Other Animals on University of Oregon's site. You can edit and change the layout of this wiki. It's called social works by some.

What is this wiki for

This wiki is created for helping (none native Chinese) learners to learn Chinese. For those who would take my on-line course, related materials and discussions can be found on separated pbwiki (please check the sidebar menu to find more). Topics here are fairly general. Anything about Chinese language that a learner need to know might be talked about here.

What is talked about here

Learning to speak and write Chinese should have been interesting and easy. However people who want to learn Chinese by themselves may face a lot of difficulties. Here we meet each other and build for ourselves a net-home with learners from all over the world involved in. We might discuss how to learn Chinese efficiently (as an implement of my listed principles I will give a course, see Jim's Chinese On-line Course, guiding you to practice through chatting with Chinese people on-line). We can solve difficult problems, share with others experience and thoughts, or collect useful tools and free resources. However, there's no limitation; you will never feel lonely in your learning again and we'll have a lot of fun in when we planting this farm!

Please check out How to contribute now! And visit Do you know frequently:) Also we have some Other resources ready for use.
